Course Details

This intensive 8-hour course will be a combination of lectures and dissection. In this module, we will dive in-depth into the unique characteristics of hypsodont anatomy and apply those to clinical outcomes. This will provide the clinician with a strong basis for diagnosing and treating equine dental disease with success. This is a course that will benefit veterinarians at every level. The lecture portion will be held on Zoom so participants can attend from anywhere in the world. Dissection will be held at the clinic.

 

Topics include:

  • Equine periodontium

  • Equine paranasal sinus system

  • Radiographic anatomy

  • Pulp and infundibular anatomy of cheek teeth and incisors

  • Clinical importance of various anatomical structures

  • Amelogenesis
