Course Details
This intensive 8-hour course will be a combination of lectures and dissection. In this module, we will dive in-depth into the unique characteristics of hypsodont anatomy and apply those to clinical outcomes. This will provide the clinician with a strong basis for diagnosing and treating equine dental disease with success. This a course that will benefit veterinarians at every level. The lecture portion will be held on Zoom so participants can attend from anywhere in the world.
 
Topics include:
  • Equine periodontium
  • Equine paranasal sinus system
  • Radiographic anatomy
  • Pulp and infundibular anatomy of cheek teeth and incisors
  • Clinical importance of various anatomical structures
  • Amelogenesis
